Telehealth is now easier to access!

In our efforts to continually improve our services, we have changed how telehealth appointments at The Jackson Clinic are offered. As of December 31, 2023, telehealth appointments will no longer be accessed through Follow My Health.

Follow My Health will still be your patient portal, and all other functions will remain the same. For telehealth appointments, we will use a new platform called Doximity. To schedule a telehealth appointment, please call us at 731-422-0213

Call for Telehealth Appointment

Video visits are held to the same privacy standards of a regular office visit. Your video visit is convenient to you, confidential, and secure. If the provider is unable to treat your symptoms through Telehealth, you will be asked to make a traditional visit.

If a prescription is needed, your telehealth provider can send it directly to the pharmacy of your choice.

Many insurance companies have categorized Telehealth services as a covered benefit, so check with your insurance provider.

Video visits can be appropriate for a majority of primary care visits, wellness visits/check-ups, and nonemergency medical conditions such as:

Cold sores
Sinus infection
Mild allergic reaction
Pink eye
Poison ivy
Sore throat or strep
Gout flare-up
Yeast infection or thrush
Cold, seasonal allergies, or flu
Cough
Arthritis, joint Pain
Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea
Skin condition, rash, or insect bites
Minor cuts and burns
Constipation
Bladder infection or urinary tract infection (UTI)
