Summer Positions

Nursing and Business Office – Temporary positions that last through the Summer. High School Diploma or GED is required. Must have a valid TN Driver’s License.


Full-Time Positions

Physical Therapist – FT – Monday-Friday – 8:00am-5:00pm – Perform evaluations and treatment for various diagnosis with adequate documentation. Utilize up to date treatment techniques. Current Licensure as a Registered Physical Therapist by the State of Tennessee. BLS required.

Mental Health Counselor – FT – Monday-Friday – 8:00am-5:00pm – Provides evidenced based therapy to adults with a variety of mental health conditions. Communicates and collaborates with medical team to provide patient care. Documents within a timely manner within the electronic medical record. Must have license to independently provide mental health counseling in the state of Tennessee (i.e., LCSW, LPC-HSP). Must have training and experience implementing evidence-based interventions.

APRN/PA – General Surgery – FT – Monday-Friday – 8:00am-5:00pm – May include some weekends – The Advanced Practice Professional will work in collaboration with the General Surgery team to round, educate and manage the care of acute/complex patients in the specialty of General Surgery that are assigned to The Jackson Clinic during inpatient hospital stays and follow up visits in our outpatient clinic. Graduate of Accredited NP or PA program. Licensed to practice in state of Tennessee as a NP or PA. Will require ACLS certification, ER, ICU, Surgical specialty experience desirable. Previous Advanced Practice Provider experience preferred.

APRN/PA – Endocrinology – FT – Monday-Friday – 8:00am-5:00pm – The Advanced Practice Professional will work in collaboration with the providers of the Endocrinology Department to provide outstanding, evidence based, quality outcomes focused care in the outpatient Endocrinology setting. Graduate of Accredited NP or PA program. Licensed to practice in state of Tennessee as a NP or PA. Previous Endocrinology or Family Practice/Internal Medicine experience preferred, but not required.

APRN/PA – North, Humboldt, Medina – FT – Monday-Friday – 8:00am-5:00pm – The Advanced Practice Professional will work in collaboration with the providers of the Family Practice Department to provide outstanding, evidence based, quality outcomes focused care in the outpatient setting. Typical visit volume should be expected to be 60-80-visits per week. Types of job duties will include Chronic/Acute problem visits, Health maintenance, and Wellness exams, Primary Care or Family Practice Experience preferred. Graduate of Accredited NP or PA program. Licensed to practice in state of Tennessee as a NP or PA.

APRN/PA – Hospitalist – FT – 7 days on, 7 days off rotating schedule – Position will include rotation between both day shift and night shift responsibilities. The Advanced Practice Professional will work in collaboration with our team of Hospitalist Physicians and APP’s to round, educate, and manage the care of acute/complex chronically ill patients assigned to the care of The Jackson Clinic during inpatient hospital stays. Candidate should have a strong medical/nursing knowledge and familiarity with inpatient setting. Graduate of Accredited NP or PA program. Licensed to practice in state of Tennessee as a NP or PA. Will require ACLS certification ER, Critical Care or ICU experience desirable. Previous Advanced Practice Provider experience preferred.

APRN/PA – ENT – FT – Monday-Friday – The Advanced Practice Provider will work in collaboration with the providers of the ENT Department to provide outstanding, evidence-based, quality outcomes focused care in the outpatient ENT setting. Typical visit volume should be expected to be 60-80 visits per week. Types of visits will include Chronic/Acute problem visits related to ENT specialty. Graduate of Accredited NP or PA program. Licensed to practice I TN as NP or PA. ENT experience preferred.

APRN/PA – Pre-Op – FT – Monday-Friday – The Advanced Practice Provider will work in collaboration with the providers of multiple surgical specialties and anesthesia to streamline preoperative process for patients requiring surgical procedures. Should expect to: Perform appropriate history and physical. Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing for specific procedures. Help to develop and implement individualized perioperative care plans and patient education for pre and postoperative care along with expected discharge instructions and follow up. Graduate of Accredited NP or PA program. Licensed to practice in TN as NP or PA. Previous experience strongly desired. Pre/Post Anesthesia or surgical/periprocedural experience preferred

Patient Care Technician – FT – Monday-Friday – 7:30am-4:30pm – Assist providers in office and provide patient care. Completion of Nursing Assistant program with certification or on the job training as a PCT may be considered in lieu of completion of PCT Diploma or Certificate Program. BLS required. Must have a valid TN driver’s license and reliable transportation.

LPN – FT – 4 days/week – Mix of 8- or 12-hour shifts – Works every other weekend – Assist provider in office and provide patient care. Must be LPN licensed to practice in the State of TN. BLS required. Must have a valid TN driver’s license and reliable transportation.

LPN – FT – Monday-Friday – (8:00am-5:00pm) – (8:00am-6:00pm) – 10-hour shifts – Assist provider in office and provide patient care. Must be LPN licensed to practice in the State of TN. BLS required. Must have a valid TN driver’s license and reliable transportation.

MA/LPN – Peds/IM – FT – Monday-Friday – 8:00am-5:00pm – Occasional Saturdays 9:00am-12:00pm – Assist provider in office and provide patient care. Must be LPN licensed to practice in the State of TN. Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with a MA certification preferred. BLS required. Must have a valid TN driver’s license and reliable transportation.

MA – Convenient Care Medina – FT – Days assigned – Alternate Weekends – Assist provider in office and provide patient care. Must be LPN licensed to practice in the State of TN. Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with MA certification preferred. BLS required. Must have a valid TN driver’s license and reliable transportation.

MA – FT – Monday-Friday – 7:30am-4:30pm – 8:00am-5:00pm – 8:30am-5:30pm – Assist provider in office and provide patient care. Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with a MA certification preferred. BLS required. Must have a valid TN driver’s license and reliable transportation.

LPN/RN Care Coordinator – FT – Monday-Friday – 8:00am-5:00pm – with occasional weekend – Focuses on the promotion of whole person health with emphasis on establishment of routing primary care. Facilitates transitions of care, specialist referrals, and chronic disease management as directed by primary care. Requires audible voice tone for clear understanding during telephone conversations. Sitting for extensive amounts of time. LPN/RN with active license in the State of Tennessee. Prefer 3-5-year experience in direct patient care in a clinical setting. BLS required.

LPN – Peri-operative Testing – FT – Monday-Friday – 8:00am-5:00pm – Assist provider in office and provide patient care. Must be LPN licensed to practice in the State of TN. Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with a MA certification preferred. BLS required. Must have a valid TN driver’s license and reliable transportation..

Physician Extender RN – FT – Monday-Friday – 8:00am-5:00pm – May be flexible depending on the needs of the clinic – Pre-op and Post-op of procedural area for minor general surgery and vascular patients. IV start, Hemodynamic monitoring, Medication administration. Patient education. Perform doppler checks of extremities. Perform Ankle Brachial Index testing, EKG recognition, help in the other nursing departments as needed. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Interventional Radiology, Cardiology, Surgical, Pre/Post op care preferred. Licensed in the State of TN. BLS/ACLS certification required.

Physician Extender RN – General Surgery – Monday-Friday – 8:00am-5:00pm – On call one night a week and every sixth weekend – Assist provider in the operating room and provides patient care. Must be RN licensed to practice in the State of TN and be able to be credentialed at area hospital. OR experience/RN First Assist experience preferred; two years of operating room surgical assisting experience preferred. Weekend employee must have experience and training to work across all specialties. BLS required. Must have a valid TN driver’s license and reliable transportation.

RN Extender – Endoscopy Suite – Monday-Friday – 7:00am-4:00pm or 10-hour days, days assigned – Occasional Saturday – Based on needs of department hours may be adjusted – Pre-op, Procedure room and Recovery. Will cover areas as needed. Prepare patients for procedure. Assist in rooms and recover patients post procedures. Document in EMR and place orders. GI experience preferred or experience in one of the above areas. Must be RN licensed to practice in the State of TN preferred. BLS required. Must have a valid TN driver’s license and reliable transportation.

IT Support Technician I – FT – Monday-Friday – 8:00am-5:00pm – On call rotation – Work as part of IT implementation and support team to install, configure, test, maintain and troubleshoot end user hardware, software, networked peripheral devices and cabling for clients on a Windows AD network. Provide first level telephone and/or on-site technical assistance for end users. This will include hardware support as well as software application support. Troubleshoot hardware problems, including PC workstation, printers, fa machines, etc. Associates of Computer Science and/or A+ certified with 1-2 years’ experience.

Patient Representative – FT – Monday-Friday – 8:00am-5:00pm – Assist patient questions regarding insurance claims and clinic statements. Investigate billing problems finding solutions to these problems. Set patient financial agreements for balances due on their accounts. Identify areas on patient accounts that need follow up. Make phone calls regarding patient due balances. High school diploma or GED. Strong customer service skills. Ability to understand EOBs and patient financial ledgers. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work remotely. Strong math and computer skills.

Medical Records Assistant – FT – Monday-Friday – 8:00am-5:00pm – Answers phones and assists with requests for medical record information for both patients and outside physicians. Handles faxed requests. Receives, sorts and identifies paper documents that need to be loaded in the electronic medical record system. Scans documents and uses the Clinic’s document management software to index them and place them in the correct patient’s electronic medical record. Monitors hospital interface to send task notifications to physicians in a timely manner. Monitors the state portal for death certificates and notifies physicians for signatures. Must be able to work without direct supervision. Skills required in reading and organizing numbers. Proper grammar and phone etiquette required. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Backup for mail coverage as needed. High School Diploma or GED.

Department Assistant – Business Office – Monday-Friday – 8:00am-5:00pm – Assist the department with mail distribution & bankruptcy processing. Completes credit card payments via online, mail or telephone. Works returned checks & returned mail. Assists remote workers and supervisor with the mailing of printed documents. Works authorizations for lawsuits. Answers calls and works overdue accounts. One to two years of medical insurance and collections/bankruptcy experience preferred. High school diploma, GED or related Business College.

Front Office Specialist I – FT – Monday-Friday – Work an 8-hour shift between the hours of 7:00am-6:00pm – Most shifts are 7:30am-4:30pm or 8:00am-5:00pm – Verify patient demographics, receive & post payments to patient’s accounts; schedule appointments; prepare and balance daily deposit; take detailed phone messages for clinical staff. Assists patients with check-in process and ensure patient’s insurance eligibility and benefits are loaded correctly onto accounts. High School Diploma or GED. Customer service experience. Previous reception, cashier or other related background experience preferred, but not required. Prior experience in a health care related field helpful but not necessary. Must have a valid TN driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Clinical Lab Assistant – Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, 8:00am-8:00pm; Sunday, 12:00pm-6:00pm – Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 8:00am-8:00pm – Frequent standing and walking for extended periods; perform venipuncture on adult and pediatric patients: perform waived laboratory procedures: review patient results and QC; perform EKG’s. One-year phlebotomy experience preferred. One-year practical experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred. BLS preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Phlebotomy/EKG Tech I – FT – Monday-Friday – 7:30am-4:30pm – Occasional weeknight, weekend, and holiday – Performs venipuncture and capillary punctures on adult and pediatric patients. Performs EKG and other related exams. Demonstrates working knowledge of EMR. Communicates in a manner that promotes clinic and laboratory professionalism, as well as comfortable phlebotomy. One-year Phlebotomy/EKG experience preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred. BLS certified.

Phlebotomy/EKG Tech I – FT – Monday-Friday – 9:00am-6:00pm – Performs venipuncture and capillary punctures on adult and pediatric patients. Performs EKG and other related exams. Demonstrates working knowledge of EMR. Communicates in a manner that promotes clinic and laboratory professionalism, as well as comfortable phlebotomy. One-year Phlebotomy/EKG experience preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred. BLS certified.


Part-Time Positions

RN, LPN, MA, PCT – work schedules vary, up to 19 hours or up to 29 hours a week.

Physical Therapist – PRN – As needed based on volume and vacations – Perform evaluations and treatment for various diagnosis with adequate documentation. Utilize up to date treatment techniques. Current Licensure as a Registered Physical Therapist by the State of Tennessee. BLS required.

Pharmacist – PRN – Monday-Friday – 8:00am-5:30pm – shifts may vary within these hours – Manages pharmacy in accordance with regulatory standards. Dispenses prescriptions per TN Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations at retail pharmacy sites. Prepares sterile IV products and compounds per USP standards at Innovation Park location. Prepares non-sterile compounds per USP standards as needed. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of pharmacy, Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred. Active Tennessee Pharmacist License (in good standing). Experience in retail pharmacy and sterile compounding preferred.

RN Physician Extender – PRN – Monday-Friday – 6:30am-3:00pm – Occasional Saturday – Based on needs of the department, hours may be adjusted. – Pre-op, procedure room, and recovery. Will cover areas as needed. Prepare patients for procedure. Assist in rooms and recover patients post procedures. Document in EMR and place orders. MA – Convenient Care – PT I – 3-, 8-, or 12-hour shifts to equal 20-29 hours/week – Works every other weekend – Assist provider in office and provide patient care. Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with an MA certification preferred. BLS required. Must have a valid TN driver’s license and reliable transportation.

MA – Convenient Care – PT II – Hours/days assigned up to 19 hours/week – Assist provider in office and provide patient care. Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with an MA certification preferred. BLS required. Must have a valid TN driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Radiology Technologist – PRN – Less than 20 hours/week and less than 500 hours/year – Knowledge of anatomy, knowledge of radiology equipment, skilled in properly positioning patients. Ability to communicate with people. High School diploma or equivalent. Completion of AMA approved school and meets requirements for registry by ARRT.

CT Technologist – PRN – Workdays and hours are on as-needed basis – Responsible for performing and monitoring CT exams. Provides instructions and comfort to the patients during an exam. Start IVs to gain access for IV contrast. Certification as radiologic technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology. CPR certification required. CT certification by ARRT is preferred. Current certification from TN Board of Medical Examiners.

Phlebotomy/EKG Tech – PT II – Days and hours to be determined – Performs venipuncture and capillary punctures on adult and pediatric patients. Performs EKG and other related exams. Demonstrates working knowledge of EMR. Communicates in a manner that promotes clinic and laboratory professionalism, as well as comfortable phlebotomy. One year of Phlebotomy/EKG experience preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred. BLS certified.

Front Office Generalist – Remote – PT I – Monday-Friday – No more than 29 hours a week between 7:00am-6:00pm – After training period will be remote – Employee must have adequate internet service – Assist with any business office support duties as requested by supervisor and/or manager. Duties assigned may include task-specific items such as creating word documents, cleaning up accounts using reports, and creating good faith estimates (GFEs). Must maintain strict confidentiality. Excellent customer service skills; High school diploma or GED; Valid Tennessee DL and reliable transportation. Some CPT knowledge preferred but not required.
