Now Offering On-Demand/Convenient Care and scheduled video visits with your Provider

During this season, you will need your regular medical care but may be concerned about coming to the clinic. We are now offering scheduled and on-demand/convenient care Telehealth video visits with your Jackson Clinic provider.

Your health and safety is our top priority.

To schedule, a Telehealth video visit with a Jackson Clinic Provider call our customer care center at 731-422-0213.

You will be greeted by one of our contact center agents who will gladly start this process for you.

To be able to schedule a telehealth video visit, patients must first be a member of our Follow My Health Patient Portal. If you have never been seen at The Jackson Clinic, a chart will need to be built for you.

The agent will ask for your name, address, cellphone number, email address, and insurance information. Please have as much of this information available when calling to set up your Follow my health account for Telehealth visits.

Once the contact center agent creates your chart with a cell phone number and email address, you will receive an email within the next minute or so.

Open that email and follow the below steps to create your account. Please make note of the "Code" this is needed to complete your account. The "Code" will be that last four of your social or your year of birth.

  • Click on the link to register now for Follow My Health.
  • Choose Sign Up and Connect
  • Your email address carried through.
  • At this point you will just need to create a password that fits the criteria to the right of the screen.
  • Click Confirm and Continue
  • The next steps are going to take you through the process of connecting your health record to The Jackson Clinic
  • Click Next
  • Accept the Terms of Use
  • Enter the invite Code mentioned earlier (the last four of your social or year of birth)
  • Review the Request for Access and click I Accept. At this point, your account is being created.
  • The next screen takes you to your new Follow My Health Patient Portal Home Page.
  • Once you have your Follow My Health account set up, you can also schedule On-Demand Convenient Care Visits

Hours: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm seven days a week

Starting a video visit is a simple process.

  1. Log into your Follow My Health account (Click to view screenshot:

  2. Click on Appointments in the menu
  3. Click on Add Appointment (plus sign) (bottom right on Android, top right on iPhone)
  4. Click Show Wait Times and choose Jackson Clinic
  5. Follow the prompts to select the reason for your visit
  6. You will then be added to the virtual waiting room

It is really that convenient to see a Jackson Clinic provider who has full access to your patient records just as if you were physically in the office.

Scheduled Provider Telehealth Video Visits

The Jackson Clinic is now providing scheduled video Telehealth Visits with your provider.

You can set up your scheduled visit by calling our Customer Care Center at 731-422-0213.

By 3-27-20 you will be able to schedule a Telehealth visit with your provider through your Follow My Health Portal.

How it Works and Hours

Video visits are appropriate for nonemergency medical conditions such as:

Cold Sores
Sinus Infection
Mild Allergic Reaction
Pink Eye
Poison Ivy
Sore Throat or Strep
Gout Flare Up
Yeast Infection or Thrush
Cold, Seasonal Allergies, or Flu
Cough
Arthritis, Joint Pain
Nausea, Vomiting, or Diarrhea
Skin Condition, Rash, or Insect Bites
Minor Cuts and Burns
Constipation
Bladder Infection or Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)

If a prescription is needed, your provider can send it directly to the pharmacy of your choice.

Video visits are held to the same privacy standards of a regular office visit. Your video visit is convenient to you, confidential, and secure. If the provider is unable to treat your symptoms through Telehealth, you will be asked to make a traditional visit. 

Many insurance companies are stating Telehealth services are a covered benefit, so check with your insurance provider.
