Convenient CareFor minor injuries and illnesses, The Jackson Clinic operates three Convenient Care locations as an alternative to the emergency room, as well as for patients with workers' compensation injuries. No appointment is needed since these are walk-in clinics. View the Convenient Care Locations & HoursShould you need them, Convenient Care offers on-site radiology, laboratory and EKG services. For additional convenience, a pharmacy is located inside Convenient Care North's location and is open during daytime hours. The Clinic's regular schedule of fees for services applies. There is no registration fee, or expensive emergency room charge. Payments may be made by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. In case of emergency after regular hours: Members of our staff are "on call" for emergencies at all times, and an operator will assist you in contacting the doctor "on call" when you dial our listed telephone number. If patients must be seen at times other than the regular hours, they will be seen at a hospital. Considerable time and inconvenience can be saved if you call to report a condition and to receive proper instructions from the doctor or his nurse. The word "emergency" should be reserved for situations that require instant action for a life threatening condition such as severe injuries, acute illness, or ingestion of poisons.
