AMGA Announces Ronald H. Kirkland, M.D. New Chair Elect on Board of Directors

The American Medical Group Association (AMGA) recently announced the new officers of its Board of Directors to begin their tenure in January 2007. Ronald H. Kirkland, M.D., President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Jackson Clinic Professional Association, has been named Chair Elect.

The AMGA Board of Directors represents the leadership of some of the organization’s most prominent member medical groups. Headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, AMGA is the strategic partner for medical groups providing educational and networking programs, publications, data services, and other operations assistance.

Dr. Kirkland has practiced Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose, and Throat medicine) at The Jackson Clinic since 1984 and is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He received his M.D. from the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences and completed his residency at Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama, and at the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences. He is a member of the Jackson Rotary Club and President of The University of Tennessee National Alumni Association.

Dr. Kirkland’s office is located on The Jackson Clinic Main Campus at 616 West Forest Avenue in Jackson, TN. Founded in 1950, The Jackson Clinic is a multi-specialty group practice with physicians practicing in 25 specialties and sub-specialties.
